Background
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Grant received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary in 1997. After completing his bachelor of laws degree at the University of Alberta in 2006, Grant was called to the Alberta Bar in 2007. He articled with Johnston Ming Manning LLP and continues to serve our clients in a range of areas. Grant and his wife both feel privileged to have been welcomed into the Red Deer community over the last several years.
Areas of Practice
Grant's practice is focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial litigation work, particularly debt collection and construction law. He also does work involving real property, employment law, and estate administration.
Professional and Community Activities
Grant is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, and a volunteer lawyer at the Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic. He has worked on projects for Pro Bono Students Canada and several other charities. He spends his time away from work in pursuits such as SCUBA diving, scrambling, hiking, camping, skiing, and traveling.
